Daiso is one of the most popular dollar stores in Japan, so much so that it’s popularity

has transversed into other countries. One can find many articles on the internet about

1.Bismemo

Though the elaborate packaging may look like it contains biscuits, the Bismemo actually

contains biscuit-designed memos. Don’t fret, they can be used like any other memo pads

out there.  But, be careful; you should keep them away from your kids!!

2.Nerisk

An homage to the American mint known as Frisk, the case for Nerisk resembles the original quite closely.

Nerisk is frisk +nerikeshi, which means kneaded eraser. I have no idea how it works

actually, but the package says made in Japan, so maybe works well. The flavor is about

comes in 5-6 types, so you can choose your favorite.

3.Pulse

In Japan, there is a gummy called Pure gummy, and the packaging is actually quite

similar. Isn’t it really cute? And not only is it cute, but it’s got a high value for its pricing.

This has 6 small, sweet melon smelling erasers . It must be popular among young girls in

an elementary school.  It also has 3-4 different flavours.

4.Pensil

Now, for the finale, we bring out the parody for the beloved Japanese staple- the Pokky.

Actually, it is a pencil, but it looks just like the Japanese snacks you could get at Walmart,

etc. If YouTubers find this, they will use it as a pokky prank for sure.

How were these parody products?? Doesn’t it make you want some??

Since we use them everyday, our stationery should be unique! It could even be used as

a conversation starter. Why not get one for yourself, or even for you friends as a piece of

unique Japanese culture?
